Focus | The change in the affected organizations
The basis of the project was the development, implementation, and management of a group-wide project management for the business area of Telekom Austria. To be able to supply business customers with individual solutions in the future, the entire company had to be geared to the new project-oriented procedures and processes. The employees were trained in the classic project management methods and soft skills to ensure smooth project management from planning and implementation to billing and sales.
The project, which initially comprised a small team of 5-10 people, consisted of a decentralized organization of around 100 employees spread across all federal states in the final stage. After the establishment of the business area, the business units Telekom Austria and A1 Mobilkom finally merged. During change management, both areas were merged and the basis for long-term, successful cooperation between all those involved was created.
